Dr. Maves opened the Village Animal Clinic (VAC) in Dexter
because he craved a "small town" atmosphere - the type of
place where he could get to know his patients and their
families personally - a place with a "heart".

Dr. Thomas Maves
|
Dr Maves graduated in 1987 from Michigan State University.
Before opening the Village Animal Clinic in 1997, Dr Maves
practiced emergency medicine for nine years.
|
Dr. Maves communtes from his home in Lansing, Michigan where
he lives with his wife Dr Sue Ewart, who is a staff veterinarian
at Michigan State University, their three sons and dog Salome.

Dr. Karen Holmstrand
|
Dr. Holmstrand lives in Chelsea with her husband Phil and son and
daughter, one dog and two cats.
|
Dr. Holmstrand is a graduate of Michigan State University and Ohio
State University.
|
Ann, Shirley, Joanne and Carrie make up the rest of the dediacted
team at the Village Animal Clinic.

The team at the VAC provides quality, state-of-the-art veterinary
medical care for your pets at an honest and affordable cost. The
team assist you through every stage of your pets growth and health
needs becasue they share the beliefs that pets are very special members
of your family. Compassion and extending a helping hand towards you
